Testimonial Reception for Metropolitan Maximos

Saturday, November 5, 2011, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas attended the Testimonial Reception honoring His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos who retired from the Metropolis of Pittsburgh at the St. Nicholas Cathedral in Pittsburgh, PA. Also attending was His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios who, on behalf of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, expressed his love and appreciation for the dedication and life-time achievements of Metropolitan Maximos. The Archbishop also acknowledged Metropolitan Nicholas for taking on the duties of Locum Tenens and his efforts in this period of transition.
